988 Suicide and Crisis Hotline

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the United States.

 

The Lifeline is comprised of a national network of over 200 local crisis centers, combining custom local care and resources with national standards and best practices.

The Christian Closet

“The Christian Closet is an affirming online mental health resource providing virtual counseling and coaching sessions for the LGBTQ+ community.

 

We meet with LGBTQ+ people to process all kinds of topics, but we specialize at the intersections of a queer identity and Christian faith.”

The Trevor Project

Through legislation, litigation, and public education, The Trevor Project is the leading advocate for the mental health of LGBTQ+ young people.

 

This includes advocating for preventative and intervention efforts at the federal, state, and local level to address factors that place them at a significantly higher risk of suicide.
